Discrepancy

Little is known about the early Duncan wives and daughters.
No original birth or marriage records have been located.
The only source and "oldest source found" for the names was the "transcription of the 1565 Bible" prepared by Judge Underwood (Bible purportedly was seen by him).
Dates are Suspect. Although marriage dates given for Wm/McMurdo, there appears to be 10-20 year Birth date discrepancies between the 1565 bible transcript and other records/bibles (transcripts) 150 years later.[1][2]
There is a great deal of conflicting information surrounding William – Many Source-to-Source discrepancies; co-mingling, Lack of records; conflicting family stories; number of Duncan’s with the same names, etc. Comparison of Sources Summary
