Hiram Wright Duncan, son of Alamander Duncan and Sarah Vaughn was born Nov. 19, 1809 in Stokes Co North Carolina[1]
Hiram married Martha Jane Reddick Dec 12, 1839. [1] [2] (Martha, daughter of John Reddick and his wife Sarah Flynt, was born about 1820 and died before the 1880 Census)
Hiram and Martha Jane had 14 children reflected on Census Records. They moved from North Carolina to Indiana about 1839.
In 1880 Hiram is living in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, as widowed, with 5 children. Hiram died April 7, 1889. [1]
