Biography

John was born about 11 Apr 1831. He was the son of Thomas Duncan and Ann Munro. [1]

In 1841 John was 11 years old living in the Parish of Scone, county of Perthshire with his parents and siblings (Thomas Duncan 30 years, Ann Duncan 30 years, John Duncan 11 years, Jane (probably Jean) Duncan 6 years, David Duncan 4 years, Robert Duncan 3 years).

John died at the age of 65 and was buried on 7 Jan 1896 at Beechworth Cemetery in Beechworth, Victoria, Australia.[2]
