Daniel Dunakin bought land in Amherst Co. VA in 1789 (Amherst Co. VA Deed Book F, pg. 412); witnessed deeds in 1795 (Book G, pg. 588 and 618); and sold his land in 1797 with his wife Elizabeth Duncan, witnessed by Francis West, Nicholas West, and Peggy West (Book H, pg. 290). Daniel Dunican bought land in Greene Co. TN on 21 Feb. 1798 on the North side of the Nolichuckey River (Greene Co. TN Deed Book 6, pg. 267). Daniel Dunikin, born 1752, applied in Greene Co. TN on 6 Sept. 1819 at age 67 for a Revolutionary War Pension (S-18819). He had enlisted in Jan. or Feb. 1776 in Amherst Co. VA under Capt. Cabell or Cahill, under Col. Buckner, for two years; had served under numerous captains; on 23 Oct. 1820 he was age 68, his wife was living, and he had had 17 children, eight then living with him and principally small. "David" Dunnigan age 80 to 90, and wife age 50 to 60, were in Greene Co. TN in 1830 (pg. 175).
Nancy Wright (1793-4) or Dunagan, married -------- Rice; died before 1861. Nancy Rice's share as heir of Polly Dunigan was paid to her administrator Joseph Martin.
Jesse Wright (1795-6), died before 1861. His four children received his share as a son of Polly Dunigan: (Thomas Wright. William Wright. Rebecca Wright. James Wright.)[6]
