Biography
James Duncan was born in Scotland and migrated to Australia as a young man (1888). He lived in Ryde for over 19 years. James was a member of Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows for over 50 years. He was employed on the Burrinjuck Dam until his late retirement. He came from a large family of ten.
James Duncan died at Leeton New South Wales, on October 14 1944, he was aged 76 years.
