In 1924 Richard and Lydia and children moved to Union County, Indiana. In October 1836 they went on to Carroll County Indiana, where they settled on a farm on Little Deer Creek (on the Michigan Road) which was then the family home.[2]
He died on October 14, 1870 at the ageof 75, in Carroll County, Indiana, and was buried in the Beech Grove Cemetery, in Sharon, Carroll County, Indiana.[1]
