Biography

Daniel Dunkin was born in 1824 either in Ohio.[1] He was the son of Richard Dunkinand Lydia Wilson. His parent's moved to Union Indiana in 1824, and their family at that time was four small children , Sarah, Elizabeth, Rachel and Daniel.[2] He had 8 siblings.

Daniel never married. He became a School Teacher, attending school in Wills, La Porte, indina in 1850.[1]

He died on November 20, 1850 and was buried in the Beech Grove Cemetery, Sharon, Carroll County, Indiana.[3]

The head stone is not very clear. the 1850 Census is dated Nov 23, 1850 that he attended school. He is recorded on it as born in Ohio. and his father's biography written by his brother Benjamin states that he was born in Ohio.
