Artimessia Tennessee was born1 December 1858-1859 to John Dunlacy and Susannah Carter (parentage for Susannah cannot be confirmed looking for her death certificate). She first appears in the 1860 census where there is some confusion around the houshold Samuel/Daniel Bray as Daniel Bray was still married to Susan Casey till 1871 when Casey applied for his pension; or if the enemerator just did not list an additional household with female at head.
1870 she is in Tavern Mo. living with her elder sister Mary Polly West[2]
1880 she is living with her huband in Union, Laclede, Missouri, USA
1900 she is living with her husband and 9 children. She states their married 23 years and has had 11 children all living.[3]
