South Carolina Ninety-six Dist.
Know all men by these presents that we, Margaret Dunlap, William Mulwee, and James Mulwee of Bush__?, are jointly and severally holden and firmly bound and obliged unto John Thomas, Jun., Esquire. Primary of the District aforesaid in the sum of Two Thousand pounds sterling to be paid into the said John Thomas or his survivors for the time being in the said Office or his Attorney or of - signs to which payment will and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and each of us Jointly and Severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seal and dated the 24th day of Novem. In 1783 -
Whereas Administration of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits which were of John Dunlap, deceased was lately committed by the said John Thomas, Jun. unto the said Margaret(?) Dunlap.
The condition of the foregoing Obligation is such that if the said Margaret Dunlap do and shall will and faithfully Administer all the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits which were of the said deceased and which shall come into the hands or knowledge of her the said Margaret Dunlap to be Administrated, and make distribution of what shall remain after payment of the debts and funeral expenses of the said John Dunlap, in a due course of law, then this obligation to be void, or to remain in full force.
