Biography

The 1st marriage of Rosina Maxwell was to Phillip Welch: Maine vital records: Marriage record of Rosina S. Maxwell the index for the record says date of marriage was 5 Nov 1896. However, when I view the actual record it only says married 1850 or 1851. Rosina (Maxwell) Dunlap was living with her son-in-law John A. Hoyt per the 1910 and 1920 Census New Portland,Somerset,Maine.

I found her buried as Rosina Dunlap with her daughter Lucretia Welch and her son-in-law John A. Hoyt in the West New Portland Cemetery in New Portland,Somerset,Maine.

Note: Rosina Maxwell married one Phillip Welch. Rosina and Phillip Welch divorced Mar 1877. I did find a marriage record for Philip Welch to a Rosina Maxwell. Rosina S. Maxwell and Philip Welch had a daughter Lucretia Welch.

Lucretia got married to a John A. Hoyt. I found a marriage record that appears to be Lucretia Welch to a John A. Hoyt.

However, the name on the record says Lon Burbank. I can not make out if the record is saying it is her 2nd marriage. However, on the back of the record it list her parents as Philip Welch and Rosina (or Roxina) Maxwell. So, I believe it is indeed the marriage record of Rosina Maxwell's daughter Lucretia Welch.

Marriage Record of Edward F. Dunlap to Cora Moulton. Note: the marriage record says she was Cora Esther Wells and it is her second marriage. Cora's parents are listed as William Moulton and A. T. Westcott. This is also the parents that are listed on her death record. One record found on familysearch.org list just her last name "Moulton" no first name getting married to Dunlap no first name listing these same parents. The death record for Cora E. Dunlap list her parents as John Moulton and her mother as Mary Westcott.

Note: In the 1850 Census Record his name is listed as Francis Dunlap which is his middle name.

His death record says he died February 12, 1911 and buried in Canaan,Somerset,Maine. However, I could not find any record of him buried in Canaan, Maine (checked with the town of Canaan, Maine). I did find an indication that he may be buried in his son Charles H. Dunlap's lot in Madison,Somerset,Maine. The record I found indicates: Name: E. Francis Dunlap but has a different date of death then his death record. The record has him born 7 Mar 1837 and died 6 February 1912 instead of 12 February 1911 per his death record. I need to got view this stone but I do believe it is Edward Francis Dunlap.
