William Dunlap, who went by his middle name Alexander or his family nickname "Bud," was born in 1845, the son of William Alexander Dunlap and Amanda Branham. [1][2][3]
He married on 29 May 1873 at Woodford County, Kentucky to Isabella "Belle" Field, [4] daughter of Colonel Thomas Field and Susan Mary Higbee [5] and they had children: [6][7][8]

William Alexander, b. 31 Aug 1883, m. Lenis Thompson, d. 23 May 1952
Alexander passed away in 1910 and is buried at Lexington Cemetery in Fayette County, Kentucky. [9]
