Eskel Cox, aged 83, died Sunday (August 19, 1979) in Harrison County Memorial Hospital, Corydon, Ind.

Mrs. Cox was born in Marengo, Ind. On June 18, 1896 and had lived in Patoka and the Princeton community for over 40 years. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Cox was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Highland, Ind.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Elsie) Gieseke, Princeton and Mrs. Bob (Delsie) Sturgeon, Corydon, three sons, Alvin Tyree, Patoka; Raymond Tyree, Princeton; and Stanley Haines, Highland; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Colvin Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Watson officiating.

Burial will be in White Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at Colvin Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday
