Welcome to our community, Mike. We truly appreciate it when experienced researchers join our number. Some of your deep ancestry may already be on WikiTree just waiting for you to connect.

Our Honor Code, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

Please consider stopping by the Tree House to introduce yourself.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thanks for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

I noticed you clicked on the volunteer button indicating that you would like to collaborate and add information. If thatÂ’s correct please leave a comment here on your profile and one of the Greeters will be happy to add you as a member of WikiTree (we do a double-check to remove the chance that spammers become members).

I have really enjoyed collaborating with all the members on this site. Merging into a family line and finding 'cousins' is what makes this site so great, and so different from all the other genealogy sites on the internet.

Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. If you will do a search for the possible variations of Last Name at Birth (LNAB) and Current Last Name (CLN), you will reduce the likelihood of creating a duplicate.

A few links that might help: Mentor Team, WikiTree video, and (again) my favorite the G2G forum.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree

Hello. I have been tracing my family history for more than 25 years. Through this time I have traced my extended family tree across several hundred years, as well as across two continents. I continue to strive in coming to 'know and understand' my ancestors, and take pride and joy in this process, as I unravel mysteries and discover new ones.
