Joseph Dunn (L1ZV-M8S) is generally assumed to be the father of Buriah (LH1C-VQV), Josiah (MGCQ-JSK) and Samuel Mitchel Dunn, although no documentation exists. Buriah, Josiah and Samuel Mitchell Dunn (93S9-WBX) are usually considered brothers, since some of Buriah's children went to live with Josiah after Buriah's and Hannah's (939H-P46) deaths, while others went to live with Samuel Mitchell. All three were more or less associated with Joseph Dunn in Hendricks County, Warren County and Jasper County, and all three named either a first or second son Joseph. Sarah Dunn (KZ26-PD3) is another possible sibling, primarily because there seems to be no other family to which she can be linked, and her marriage to Buriah's brother-in-law Alvin Dunn (K2X5-CQ2) was performed by a Joseph Dunn.
