Biography

Thomas Dunn was part of a Southern Pioneer Family.

Thomas M. Dunn was born in 1803 to parents David Dunn and Unknown Unknown.

Thomas M. Dunn and Ann Strange married 1 July 1824 in Amite County, Mississippi. ^[1]

The 1850 census in Amite County, Mississippi lists Thomas Dunn and his family. ^[2]

In 1855 both Thomas and his son David sold land in Amite County, Mississippi to D.C. Short on the 19 March 1855.^[3] In 1860 Thomas and Anne were on the census in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana.^[4]

In 1870 Thomas appears on the census with his second wife Lavinia and her children with the surname Furlon. This record shows that Thomas and Lavinia married in December 1869.^[5]
