Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Church of Christ in Wilson for Mrs. Mattie Jane Kimbrell, 79, who passed away in her home from a heart attack Friday morning. L.E. O'Neal, minister in the Church of Christ, conducted services with burial in Hewitt Cemetery, under direction of the Bettes Funeral Home of Healdton.
Martha Jane Kimbrell was born in Montague County, Texas, and passed away at the family home near Zaneis, Friday morning from a heart attack. She had lived in the Zaneis Community for 53 years and was a charter member of the Wilson Church of Christ. She was the widow of Oscar Kimbrell, who died in 1940.
Also had twin sons, Lawrence & Lemuel, who were born and died in 1902. [2]
