This Alice Dunn Shelton, married to James Knox Polk Shelton is easily confused with Alice Oliver Shelton who is also married to a James Knox Polk Shelton, both in NE Texas. To further confuse matters she also has a daughter named Minnie, this Minnie married a Smith.
