Obituary: Kenneth Ray “Goat” Dunn, 72, of Dresden, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashville. Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Friday at Matheny Grove Cemetery in Palmersville with Elder Ed Long officiating and Bowlin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Ted Kelley, Jerry Kelley, Kenneth Gatewood, Ronald Copeland, Tim Cavender and Dean Maxey served as pallbearers. Dunn was born in Dresden, son of the late J. Henry and Evelyn Blanche Wright Dunn. He was a truck driver for Volunteer Express, a Methodist and attended Matheny Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Norma Jean Rainbolt Dunn of Dresden; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Marty and Tammy Dunn and Keith Turbeville, all of Dresden; three grandchildren, Thomas Dunn, Alex Dunn and Precious Turbeville, All of Dresden. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Dunn.
