I've done a little searching for this relationship. There are internet trees that give this relationship (John father of Thomas). There are definitely Nichols families in Llantwitt Major. But I've not found anything that I consider remotely legitimate, connecting Thomas of Sedgeberrow to Llantwitt Major or Thomas to John.
I'm not an expert in British Genealogy or pre-1600 Genealogy, but in order to add John as father, at Wikitree we look for and need proof. To prove this we would probably need John's will that says I leave my son Thomas who lives in Sedgeberrow..... or a known genealogist who says he saw the will. If you find anything good like that let me know.
You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering.
About your Andersons and Dunns, I've found the best way to research my family in WikiTree is to post what I know and connect to existing profiles when I find them. That way, you can ask questions in G2G from the profile you're stuck on & folks will know what you have already.
Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

I hope your enjoying Wikitree. Thank you.
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!
Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?
Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.
