William was born in 1780. He was the son of Joseph Dunn and Jane Long. He passed away in 1838.
There is no disagreements on the number of children, who they married
or descendants. They disagree on a middle initial H. for Harrison and
William's wife Lucy Runnels. It seems a William C. Dunn married a Lucy
Runnels in Fayette co. KY on April 13, 1805. This same William died in
Fayette Co. on 9 Jan 1833 at age 50. So, for the time being, I do not
know who William's wife was. Before moving to Illinois, William was in
Livingston County, Kentucky between 1806 to 1816. A William Dunn
also fought in the War of 1812 and is thought to be this William. He had
four children. Rumina Matilda, Jesse, Martha, and Nancy.
