"Silvain DUPUY, s/o Jean/Marguerite RICHARD, m. ca. 1745 to Françoise LEBLANC. Children: Paul (1748); Françoise (1750); Augustin (1751); Jean-Baptiste (1753); Marguerite (1754); Joseph (1756); Elizabeth (1758); Charles (1762); Marie (1764); Pierre-Silvain (1767); Simon-Pierre (1768); Norbert (1771). Deported to New England 1755 and later at St-Sulpice, Québec and l'Acadie, Québec." [2]

Marie Dupuy married Pierre Boudreau, widower of Marguerite Landry, on 27 Feb 1786 in L'Acadie (QC), notice of consanguinity present. Élisabeth Dupuy married Joseph Cyr, widower of Madeleine Gaudet, on 15 Jun 1789 in L'Acadie (QC), notice of consanguinity present. Anastasie Dupuy married Joseph Lanoue on 6 Oct 1794 in L'Acadie (QC). Joseph Dupuy married Marie Anne Parent on 2 Feb 1795 in Les Cèdres. Pierre Dupuis married Geneviève Lanoue on 21 Feb 1814 in L'Acadie (QC).
Sylvain Dupuy died on 27 May 1799, funeral the next day in L'Acadie[3], he is given the age of 78 on the record.
