Biography

Martha was born about 1688. Martha Dupuis ... She passed away in 1763.

In 1762, a newspaper notice reads: "Ran Away on Sunday night the 5th of December Instant, from widow Martha Jerauld of Medfield, a Mulatto servant, named Cesar about 4 feet 9 inches high, born in Medfield, aged 30 years, speaks fast and thick; Had on when he went away, a thick all wool coat, a blue broad cloth jacket, and an old felt hat, wears a cap. Whoever shall take up said fellow, and convey him to the subscriber, shall have TWO DOLLARS Reward, and all necessary charges paid, per Martha Jerauld, Medfield, December 11, 1762.[1]
