Pierre Dupuis was born in 1671 in Port-Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France, son of Michel Dupuis and Marie Gautrot. He was 3 months old on the 1671 census of Port Royal, Acadia, and 9 years old on the 1678 census.[1]
In 1686, at Port Royal, Pierre, aged 17, was living with his parents, Michel DUPEUX [sic], aged 57, Marie GOTROT [sic], aged 49, and his three siblings: Martin, aged 21, Jean, aged 10, and Marie, aged 7. They were living on 5f arpents of cultivable land with 6 cattle and 2 sheep.[2]
Pierre (~21) married Madeleine Landry (~37) in 1692 in Port-Royal.[1][3]Their children were:
