Louis Faustin Dupuis was born in 1806,[1] probably in St. Gabriel, Louisiana.[citation needed]

Louis died in 1890, aged 84.[1] He was buried in Saint Peter's Cemetery, New Iberia, Louisiana, United States.[2]
