Research Notes
He was baptised Jean, not Jean Baptiste.
...and Jean is found on all records
...for some reason prdhigd has Jean Baptiste
His wife and the mother of Louis Albert was Catherine Tessier.[4]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jean by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jean:
Dupuis-2042 and Dupuis-85 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, including dit name Parisien, same dates, same location for death. Location for birth is different but Dupuis-2042 is unsourced.
Dupuis-2040 and Dupuis-85 appear to represent the same person because: The notes on Dupuis say he was born jean and that was used on all his records. Apparently not when his son Louis Albert was baptized which used Jean Baptiste. I'll leave it for the PM's to sort out during the merge. Same birthdate. Same spouse (mentioned in the bio of Dupuis-2040 along with source. Same death date.
have sorted out all the children in the family, once merge is complete on Jean and his non-existent brother they will all be correctly aligned. Actual birth name for him is Jean, gets stuck with Baptiste occasionally, frequent occurrence. :D Danielle
Parisien-1 and Dupuis-85 appear to represent the same person because: this is actually the same man, his correct wife is tied to most of the children (Catherine Tessier). he was never married to Jeanne Rheault.
This profile needs to be redone I'm afraid, Jean Dupuis son of Louis Dupuis and Barbe Dubeau is born in Quebec city 29 Sept 1695. He is not the same man as Jean Dubois who married Jeanne Rheault. See note on his grandfather Guillaume's profile,
