Durham-1551 and Durham-711 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics, the same parents, the same siblings, the same spouse, Elijah Phillip Johnson (when merged), and some of the same children.

Durham-1551 and Durham-4297 appear to represent the same person because: My Wikitree profile Bowman-12123 shows I have taken the Ancestry.com DNA test, and I show matches with John Durham descendants revealed by Thru-lines. I suggest you review and accept the proposed merger. I am persuaded that Elara / Lara / Laura Johnson, wife of Lewis Harrison Vaughn, was a daughter of Rebecca Durham and Philip Johnson, but I am aware of no single document which establishes clear written proof of the relationship. I have never located estate papers on Philip Johnson or Rebecca Durham Johnson to clarify whether Elara Johnson Vaughn shared in the division of the estate or was mentioned in a will, however, in the 1850 Census of Spartanburg Co., SC, Philip and Rebecca Johnson are enumerated in household 3116 and Lara Vaughn is enumerated as head of the next household 3117. It is at the least a strong circumstantial case she is their widowed daughter living next to them.

Durham-1551 and Durham-2357 appear to represent the same person because: I think they are the same person - same parents, same spouse, some of the children are the same and date and place of death are the same. They appear as sisters on profile.

Durham-1011 and Durham-711 appear to represent the same person because: Since I merged my Johnathon Durham with your John Durham this messes up my line. Can we merge them to connect to her?

Thanks.
