Biography

Joseph N. Dutton was born 11 Feb 1873 in Georgia. His mother may have died bringing him into the world or shortly thereafter, because as as baby he went to live with members of his mother's family and was raised by them. In 1880, he was living as a cousin in the home of John A. Frazier in Floyd County, Georgia.[1]

He married Matilda Belle Higdon.

He died 11 Jan 1921 in Lacon, Morgan County, Alabama, and was buried in the Higdon Cemetery.
