Biography
Moses was born in 1742. He is the son of Moses Duty and Mary Palmer. [1]

Death of his wife
- Court records, 1774-1821, 1836-1837; court dockets, 1774-1819, 1833-1851, FamilySearch Case brought against Moses for causing the death of his wife. He was never tried. It would have been manslaughter - "not an intentional murder". He hit her in the head and her sides with a hoe then threw her to the ground. She died two days later.[2]
