Brown Dye's marriage in 1809 to Mary "Polly" Martin was not his first marriage. He already had these children:

4. Burwell Dye
5. Mary Dye, wife of Woodson Hubbard
6. Sarah Dye, wife of Vinson Hubbard
7. Thompson Dye, died before 1825

The children of Brown Dye and Mary "Polly" Martin were:
