Biography
Malinda Dye was born about 1826 in Russell County, Virginia. She was the daughter of John Dye and Nancy Little. She married John Ray. They were farmers and had nine children during their marriage.
After John died during the Civil War, she married William Hunt on September 2, 1873, in Russell County, Virginia. She died on October 19, 1881, in Russell County at the age of 55.
