In 1850, at age 59, he and Vashdi (age 55) lived in Provincetown, Barnstable, Massachusetts, where he was a Mariner, for Water Transportation and Vashdi was taking care of the home with their son, Joseph Dyer-17 in it.[7]
He died on November 4, 1858, at the age of 67, in Provincetown, Barnstable, Massachusetts, and was buried in the Provincetown Cemetery.[1]
