Ellen Dyer daughter of James Dyer and Lucy Cushing was born on October 25, 1835,^[1] in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[2] At age 24, Ellen was in her parent's home in Portland City 1st ward, Cumberland, Maine, where her father was a Cooper.^[3]

Ellen married Edward Ross Lincoln on January 14, 1873 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[4] They had no children.

Ellen died at the age of 85, on March 24, 1921 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[5] She was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[1]
