Biography

Henry Elmer Dyer was born on 18 August 1862 to Benjamin Dyer and Mary Koble in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.[1] In 1870 he attended the local normal school with his siblings.[2]

At the time of the 1880 Census, he worked alongside his brother, Frank, as a millhand. He was still living with his parents.[3]

Henry was listed as next of kin on his father's Veterans Records. At the time of Benjamin's death in 1911, Henry was living at 26 S. Duke Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.[4]

Henry Elmer Dyer passed away on 8 January 1932 in Providence Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He is interred near other family members in the Clearfield United Methodist Cemetery in New Providence, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA.
