Agnes Rebecca (Bec) Hoad was born 18 June[1] 1893 at Cundle Flat in the Taree District of New South Wales. She was the daughter of George Hoad and Elizabeth Wilkes. [2]
When Bec married Cedric James EADE, better known as Sid on 8 April 1912 in St Pauls Anglican Church Gloucester, New South Wales the consent of both of their fathers was given in writing as they were both under 21. Bec was recorded as an 18 year old spinster domestic living at Barrington. Sid as a 20 year old bachelor waiter living in Gloucester. Bec's birthplace was recorded as Barnard River and Sid's as West Maitland.[3]
Sid and Bec had 13 children in 17 years and raised their family at 61 Dennison Street, Gloucester New South Wales.
Bec died on 23 August 1988[4] in Gloucester, New South Wales at the age of 96. A plaque in the local cemetery commemorates Bec, her husband Sid and their son Mick[5].
