James Earle son of Caleb and Elizabeth (Brightman)), Earle, b. March 24, 1765, in Westport, Mass.: m. May 20, 1787, Elizabeth Soule (b. Oct. 13, 1762; d. March 7, 1844), of Westport; removed with his father, about 1800, to Galway, Saratoga Co., N.Y.; lived in Pierrepont Manor, Jefferson Co. ; d. Dec. 11, 1857.

1130- 7. William Earle, b. Aug. 25, 1796; m. Charity Hallenbeck.
1131- 8. James Earle, b. May 24, 1798; m. Phebe Taylor.
