Biography

Edna Earl Howe was born on November 6, 1872 in Joplin, Newton, Missouri, United States to William Howe and Mattie Franklin. She passed away in November 1, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona.[1][2][3]

An 1880 Mars Hill, Washington, Arkansas, USA census shows Edna (Edney) E. Howe, age 7 living with her parents James W. Howe(38) and wife Martha E. Franklin (28) along with sibling Loyola (2) and Mary E. Franklin (25) is also living with them.[4]

She married William Bert Wright in Kaufman, Texas on April 5, 1888.[5]

A 1910 Jack County, Texas census shows William age 47 living with his wife Edna (36), and their children William C Wright (19), Bertie A Wright (17), Carrie Wright (11), Ola Wright (9), Jewel Wright (7), Georgia Wright (5), and Leo Wright (0). [6]

A 1920 Place: Bentley, Atoka, Oklahoma census shows William age 56 living with wife Edna (47), and their children Ola Wright (19), Georgia B Wright (14), Leo A Wright (11), Bertha Wright (9), Wilbur J Wright (7), Stella G Wright (3), and Clifford L Wright (0). [7]

A 1940 Maricopa County, Phoenix census shows a divorced Edna age 67 living with her son Clifford Wright (20). [8]
