Bertie Co., NC, Deeds Book F page 169 May 5, 1738, Margaret Beverly sells to sons John and Robert Beverly in response to the lost will of her husband, John Beverly. Book F page 170: Francis Stringer of Craven Co., NC, practitioner, to Daniel Hough dated November 1740 for 500 pounds for one negro, furniture, etc., to Margaret Beverly, now Margaret wife of Daniel Hough, formerly widow of John Beverly.
