Research Notes
"Rev. Lucius Root Eastman in his work says he married 2nd Sarah Brown, but it is very doubtful of his having a second wife, as in his will dated Dec. 18, 1753, two days before his death, he mentions his wife Sarah. Also he mentions his son Timothy, of whom we have no account. ... Samuel Eastman's will can be found in Vol. xii, page 622, on the old Exeter records now in Concord. "[2]
Contrary to Rix's conclusion, Samuel son of Samuel, son of Roger married 1st Shuah Fifield and had at least one son, Timothy, by her.
