Biography

Ruth Eastman was born in 1769. She passed away in 1832. Ruth married Dr. Daniel Coit and they had the following children:

  1. William Homer Coit 1790 – 1806
  2. Isaac Coit 1792 – 1804
  3. Elizabeth Coit 1793 – 1878
  4. Abigail Coit 1796 – 1877
  5. Harriet Coit 1798 – 1881
  6. Emily Amelia Coit 1801 – 1866, m. Calvin Ketchum Averill
  7. Daniel Pierce Coit 1804 – 1842, m. Eliza Hardin
  8. William Homer 2nd Coit 1808 – 1809

Ruth Eastman Coit is buried in the Averill plot in Rouse's Point, New York.
