Hiram was born in 1802 to John Eaton and Mary Kimball. He died in 1876 in Warner. Hiram was a Silversmith and watchmaker. He lived in Vermont for several years.

He appeared on the 1870 census taken at Concord NH, listed as a clock cleaner.
