Biography
Silas Eaton Sr. was born 1 Dec 1750, in Framingham, Middlesex, Province of Massachusetts Bay [1]. Silas Sr, married Mary Nichols in 1782. Together they had at least eight children. Both husband and wife buried at Church Hill Cemetery, Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA
Silas Eaton Sr. is one of many men that answered the call of their community as it concerned the call to arms against the British rule of this country. Silas Eaton Sr. was a member of the Minute Company belonging to Framingham, under the command of Capt. Simon Edgell who marched on the Alarm on the 19th of April, 1775, to Concord and Cambridge.
