The certificate of marriage is recorded by the Chester Monthly Meeting, and shows that among the witnesses were three Richards, Thomas, William, Joseph and Rachel Woodward..[1][2]
While residing in Middletown, Edward was a member of Providence Meeting; appointed in 1710 as overseer, and in 1717..[1][2]

Hannah, b. 5th month (July) 2, 1715; m. 10th mth (Dec) 11, 1740, at Providence Meeting, to William Hunter, son of John Hunter
