Biography

Betty L. Solomon 79, Indianapolis, passed away Friday, May 25, 2007. Born July 11, 1927, in Martin County, Indiana, she was the daughter of John Scott and Mona Shiloh (Rodgers) Edwards, who preceded her in death. One son, Richard Solomon, and two brothers, Charles and Douglas Edwards, also preceded her in death.

Betty was a retired Office Manager with IBEW Local 1393 after 30 years. She also was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Solomon; a daughter, Mary Johantgen; two sons, John and Gary Solomon; three brothers, Robert, Roy and Russell Edwards; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Services were entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Funeral Homes of Indianapolis, Indiana.
