Hi! I'm a WikiTree Mentor, like Guy, & stopped by to see how you were doing on your "anniversary" (a day late... you volunteered to join just over a month ago - so glad you did!).

I've found the best way to research my family in WikiTree is to post what I know and connect to existing profiles when I find them. That way, you can ask questions in G2G from the profile you're stuck on & folks will know what you have already. If you need some tips, check out Getting Started with Genealogy.

Thanks for your message providing information about your family and indicating you are willing to help others where you can. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, or you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Finding the links and getting the facts correct is a never ending exercise. Our line from the sons of Abraham Attrill who emigrated to Australia is of great interest to our family. I am happy to supply any information required on the Australian descendants.
