The 1910 Federal Census listed Perry as living with his wife Lena, his daughters Flossie Myrtle and Montie Lee and his sons Oatley Murle and Walter in Justice Precinct 8, Fannin, Texas. His occupation was listed as a farmer. [6]
On June 5, 1918, Perry's son Oatley registered for the World War I Draft in Fannin County, Texas. He listed his nearest relative as Mrs. P.C. Edwards in RFD #2, Windom, Fannin, Texas. [7]
