She was born in North Wales in 1807, and came to this country a few years later, locating in New York state. In 1850, after living for a while in Wisconsin she removed to Mankato and has lived there ever since. She leaves two sons, W. E. Edwards, foreman of the Fibre works in Mankato, and another residing in Idaho to mourn her loss. She was also the mother of Mrs. Edward Price, Mrs. David Dackins, and Mrs. R. F. Pritchard, all of whom are now dead. She was grandmother of Mrs. Reese Thomas and H.G. Pritchard of this place.
