Biography

He represented Surry in the House of Burgesses in 1706. His will dated January 9. 1722 was proved February 25, 1722. He married twice, (1) Elizabeth Harrison, her headstone indicates she died at 17 years of age. In 1707, she made a deed of land with her husband. Their only child, Benjamin, was born in 1707.[1]
