My research shows there were actually 2 Thomas Edwards, born around the same time. They married different women and the children's names are different.
After comparing, my initial reaction is they are the same person. However, there are major differences. The wife is different and the children do not overlap so far. Further research is needed. Thank you for the suggestion, inspiring me to take a closer look!
