Some lineages give Daniel Mosher's wife as Elizabeth Edwards, but no record of a wife Elizabeth has been found, and no likely Elizabeth Edwards who might have been his wife has been found.[1]
Daniel Mosher[1][2] was born about 1678, at probably Portsmouth, or Newport, Rhode Island. His father "of Newport" had purchased land at Westerly, Rhode Island in 1660 and was in Portsmouth, Rhode Island by 1668.[1] Hugh Mosher's property was on the line, laying partly in Portsmouth and partly in Newport.[3] Hugh Mosher didn't move to Dartmouth, Massachusetts until 1690.[1]
In a deed dated 20 Nov 1718 "Mary" Mosher witnessed Daniel's deed of land in Dartmouth. His wife Mary surrendered her dower in a deed of 9 Sep 1740. Daniel died at Dartmouth, Massachusetts in 1751. His will mentions his wife and names his children.[1]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Birth date corresponds to Elizabeth Edwards born in Boston, parents Griffin and Elizabeth. Text implies death would be after 1751, not in 1751,when she was widowed.
