Biography
Harriet was born in 1778. She was the daughter of John Edwards and Elizabeth Lees. [1]
In 1804 she married John Dyson.[2]
The probate records include the following details about two of her sons: John Daniel of Trimingham in Skircoat became a Colonel in Her Majesty’s 3rd regiment of Dragoon guards. Edwards of Emley Park near Pershore in the County of Worcester became a Major in Her Majesty’s 3rd regiment of Dragoon Guards.
She died in 1865. At the time of her death she was living at Willow Field in Skircoat. Her effects were worth under 5000 pounds.[3]
